About me

I have lived and worked in the Bay Area my whole life. I received a B.A. degree in Psychology from California State University Hayward. From there I went on to get a M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Child and Adolescent Therapy, from John F. Kennedy University. After receiving my degrees I met the California state requirements and passed their exams to become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

During my time as a therapist I have co-created and helped facilitate an expressive arts camp for children. I have provided therapy in the public school system as a middle school counselor. I have also worked in two community based counseling centers and have managed two private practice settings.

While I have had extensive training and experience with children and adolescents, I also enjoy working with adults and couples.
